The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking contractor for the East Lynn Lake Access Road Paving East Lynn, WV. The work shall consist of paving East Fork Recreation Area Access Road at East Lynn Lake and Dam. Work shall include repair of the access road, 17 sites (totaling 3,786-feet), 10 intersections, and 22 culvert crossings along the 3.7-mile long access road. The repairs include full depth repair, pothole repair, surface treatments, and shoulder and ditch work. Contractor must provide all work, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, and administration as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications, and as necessary to completely perform the work as described. General Information: The estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) cade is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, which has a size standard for construction is $39,500,000 in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm-fixed price contract for Full and Open Competition. Approximate solicitation posting date: 11 August 2022. The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via sam.gov. Hard copy documents will not be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. ALL RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT SHALL BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY. Hand carried delivery or USPS/UPS/FEDEX delivery of hard copies and or CD-ROMs are not authorized. Facsimile submission is not authorized. Electronic Proposal Submission is required through the Army’s Electronic File Sharing Service, DOD SAFE (https://safe.apps.mil). Instructions for uploading submissions will be added to the solicitation on the SAM.GOV announcement. You must follow these instructions. The SAFE Instructions clearly define what constitutes a timely electronic submission. This is not a request for proposal. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" tab found on beta.sam.gov for this solicitation. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of bid.
