The abstract for solicitation W9123722B0002 has been posted in the attachments section.*** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking contractor for the Dewey Lake Clean and Paint Sluice Gates project in Van Lear, KY The work shall consist of cleaning and painting, and rivet replacement of service gates and their associated items. All ferrous surfaces of the service gates and their associated items including roller chain covers, shall be cleaned by abrasive blast cleaning. Upon completion of surface preparation, the surfaces shall be painted. The work on the service gates shall be performed inside the intake structure. Contractor must provide all work, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, and administration as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications, and as necessary to completely perform the work as described. General Information: The estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) cade is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard for construction is $39,500,000 in average annual receipts. This invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns. The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the solicitation will be available only electronically and via sam.gov. Hard copy documents will not be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. ALL RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT SHALL BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY. Hand carried delivery or USPS/UPS/FEDEX delivery of hard copies and or CD-ROMs are not authorized. Facsimile submission is not authorized. Electronic Proposal Submission is required through the Army’s Electronic File Sharing Service, DOD SAFE (https://safe.apps.mil).
