The US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District intends to procure a contract for repairs to a levee system. The award of one (1) firm-fixed price construction contract is anticipated. This project is located in Tuscarawas County, OH. The levee surrounds the Village of Zoar, which is a National Historic Landmark. Zoar Levee is founded on pervious, glacial outwash soils, which has led to this and previous seepage related remediation work completed since the levee’s construction in 1937. The work will consist of installing internal erosion interceptor trench, extending manholes, vibration monitoring, and the disposal of excess soils. Period of performance shall not exceed June 2022.
