The US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District intends to procure a contract Construction of the new County Municipal Building Haysi Va. The award of one (1) firm-fixed price construction contract is anticipated. The Contract includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new Municipal Hall and Police Station Building consisting of a single-story, wood-framed/masonry structure with asphalt-shingled wedged roofs, and face-brick cladding and fiber cement siding exterior with an approximate gross area of 3,177 square feet (SF). The structure provides a council chamber meeting room, offices for the Mayor, Chief Police Officer, and Economic Development Director, in addition to rooms for interrogation, evidence, and file storage, gun safe, and kitchenette. In addition to the Municipal Building, a detached garage shed with approximately 576 SF, parking for 26 vehicles, including two accessible parking spaces, Contractor-designed retaining walls and other incidental related work.
