The Contractor shall rehabilitate the identified sanitary sewers and manholes in the Battle Run Recreation Area at Summersville Lake to eliminate groundwater infiltration into the sewer system. The project area is located approximately one mile west of Summersville Dam and 0.3 miles north along Battle Run Road, and is shown on Attachment A, Location and Vicinity Maps. All identified sanitary sewers shall be inspected, thoroughly cleaned, relined, and leak tested for a complete turn-key product. All identified manholes shall be inspected, thoroughly cleaned, waterproofed, and leak tested. The Recreation Area will be closed to the public during the construction of this contract; therefore, no bypass provisions are required to maintain existing sewer service during construction.
