These specifications are for the supply, testing, and delivery of one tainter gate hoisting motor and appurtenances for Deer Creek Dam. This new motor will match all of the characteristics of the existing motor and will meet the same requirements as the original motor.The new hoisting motor shall be Reuland Electric Company, Model STN7475X, frame AFO-254U, Type A000, rated at 5 HP, 3-phase, 220/440 VAC, NEMA design “D”. Full load current is 15.8/7.9 amps, full load speed is 1200 RPM. Enclosure type is totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) with condensate heater with capacity of 150 W. The new motor shall be suitable for an exact bolt-in swap (“three-dimensional footprint”) for the existing motor. The new coupling shall be equal to the type shown as item 17 on drawing 52.3/1. Contractor responsible for providing the new motor and new coupling and that they will fit into the existing space without additional modifications.
