The general description of the work is to furnish all materials, equipment, labor, layouts of work features, and supervision needed to dredge and dispose of sediment deposition, drift, and debris material from Moxahala Creek near Roseville, Ohio to prevent the erosion of the creek bank. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, plant, equipment, transportation, per diem, and materials necessary to dredge and dispose of the sediment deposition, drift, and debris material. The Contractor shall excavate and dispose of sediment build up and debris from Moxahala Creek near Roseville, Ohio. Material removal shall be done in the immediate vicinities as described below and provided in the attached photos. Contractor shall excavate and dispose of the sediment build up and debris from Moxahala Creek in accordance to the priorities shown below. Access to the sandbars will be provided, however if the Contractor wants different access points, it is up to the Contractor to obtain permission from the landowner. Contractor shall dredge the existing sandbars and debris taking them down to the water’s edge. The dredged material shall be scooped and placed directly into a truck. This estimated volume of dredged material and location(s) is subject to revision following a proposed site visit and consultation with all involved parties.
