The service described herein is for a vendor to furnish all labor, equipment, access, and materials to clean and paint the needle beam storage frame at Winfield Locks and Dam. The frame shall be cleaned and painted in accordance with Specification Section 09 97 02 PAINTING; HYDRAULIC STEEL STRUCTURES. The Contractor shall be responsible for protecting the environment from the blasting and painting process and all waste material shall be contained in the work area. At the end of each phase of work, the Contractor shall ensure the work area is properly cleaned and all material disposed of in accordance with state regulations. Contractor is responsible for moving/cribbing the frame as needed and the equipment as needed. Contractor is responsible for providing their own restroom/sanitation facilities. Government can provide water and electric. Contractor to provide lines/wiring and making the connection to use the water and electric services. The contractor shall warranty all labor, parts and materials relative to the work described above for a minimum of one (1) year.
