CONTRACT INFORMATION: The Huntington District Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract for the construction of the Town of Martin Phase II Redevelopment Site. The award of one (1) firm-fixed price construction contract is anticipated. The general description of the work for this contract consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, layouts of work features, and supervision needed to accomplish construction of Town of Martin Phase II Redevelopment Site. Town of Martin Phase II Redevelopment Site involves placement of fill from Mayo Hollow site to a specified elevation (removed from flood risk) in the area situated between KY-1428 and base of the mountain forming the valley wall of Beaver Creek at the Town of Martin. Raising existing KY-1428 and existing Ice Plant Hollow Road to accommodate and serve the Phase II site and the residents of Ice Plant Hollow and to maintain traffic through the area. Construction and/or adjustment of certain utilities necessary to accommodate the project and provide for future services at the Phase II Redevelopment Site. Final grading and reclamation of the Mayo Hollow borrow site. A virtual pre-bid teleconference is anticipated to be conducted on May 14, 2020. The contract will be awarded to the lowest price bidder found to be responsive and responsible. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The estimated order of magnitude of this procurement is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990, which has a size standard of $39.5 million average annual receipts.
