This is a Sources Sought notice for market research, not a solicitation, for maintenance dredging at Thimble Shoal Channel, Hampton Roads, Virginia (Norfolk Harbor). The base scope includes dredging approximately 1,350,000 cubic yards to -57 feet MLLW from the West channel segment, with an optional East segment scope of about 220,000 cubic yards to -56 feet MLLW; dredged material will be placed at the Dam Neck Ocean Disposal Site and Craney Island. The estimated construction price range is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. The construction period of performance will be approximately 150 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Interested firms are asked to provide capability, experience, bonding, and business size information to support the Government's acquisition decisions.
