The government is seeking interest and availability from qualified contractors for a new Water Intake Facility at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) in Radford, VA. RFAAP is a Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated production facility supporting propellants, energetics, and munitions for the Warfighter. All production at the plant depends on river water, so the project includes construction of supporting infrastructure and in-water work. The work is intended to ensure continued operation of the primary water intake and resilience of the facility’s water supply.
