The work includes ... This project is for the Design-Build, Multi-Purpose Dynamic Training Range (P-306), Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The work will take place out in the range training areas of Fort Barfoot. The work includes the design and construction of several types of both individual and unit range stations that offer individual military training sessions as well as long lateral group (4-6 person) runs. Facilities include the design and construction of an operations/storage building (pre-engineered metal building, 800 SF), a compressor building (pre-engineered metal building, 625 SF), and other training structures. Design and construction includes: facilities, static and dynamic live fire training stations, shock-absorbing concrete walls, and pneumatic and non-powered targetry systems. The scope of work also contains low impact development, clearing and grubbing of trees, site preparations and site improvements, standby generator, landscaping, drainage, parking, and anti-terrorism/force protection (AT/FP) features. Electricity, water, and sewer utilities are not available. The project does not have any telecommunications, fire protection or fire detection and alarm requirements.
