Multidiscipline design and other architect-engineer services are being procured in accordance with the Selection of Architects and Engineers Statute (PL 92-582, formerly known as Brooks A-E Act), 40 USC Chapter 1101 et seq., as implemented by FAR Part 36.6. These services are required for design support primarily for projects within or assigned predominantly to the Norfolk District?s Area of Responsibility (AOR), US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), but also could be used within North Atlantic Division?s (NAD) AOR. Contract capacity may be shared with other Department of Defense Agencies or USACE Districts upon approval by the Contracting Officer and acceptance by the Contractor.This procurement will result in a multiple award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity task order contract (MATOC IDIQ) to approximately three (3) small business firms for multi-discipline Architect-Engineer (A-E) services. Hereinafter to be referred to collectively as ?Small Business A-E Multiple-Award Task Order Contract? or ?SB A-E MATOC.? The contract term for the awarded contract will be for a base ordering period of five (5) years with a 6-month option period. The total aggregate dollar capacity (fees) that may be awarded to the contracts for the contract term issued under this synopsis shall not exceed $45,000,000, which is to be shared among all awardees. The guaranteed minimum per contract for the contractor for the contract term is $5,000.00. Firm-fixed price task orders will be competed and awarded based on technical qualifications. There will be no dollar limit per task order and no dollar limit per year. Estimated start date is February 2024.
