The small business size standard is $19,500,000.00. This solicitation is issued as a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Norfolk District requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing Janitorial Services within designated facility. Facilities that are 3,000 Square Feet or less are required to be cleaned two (2) times per week while facilities that are 3,001 square feet or more are required to be cleaned three (3) times per week. The contractor shall perform the following work for Group 2. Group 2 facilities range from 1760 sq feet – 4233 sq feet. Work shall be performed Monday-Friday excluding all federal holidays and other days specifically designated by the Real Estate POC. Work shall take place between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, or by appointment scheduled in advance, with each recruiting service. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, inspections, personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, transportation, and other items necessary to perform janitorial services as described in the schedule of janitorial services for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers leased space. Janitorial Service applies to all designated spaces, including, but not limited to, halls, restrooms, offices, work areas, entranceways, lobbies, common areas, test room areas and storage room areas. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for Proposal, and should not be construed in any manner to be an obligation of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District to issue a contract, or result in any claim for reimbursement of costs for any effort you expend responding to this request. The period of performance is anticipated to be a base year with two (2) optional years of services. The official synopsis citing the solicitation number will be issued on BetaSAM at https://beta.sam.gov and inviting firms to register electronically to receive a copy of the solicitation when it is issued.
