Description of Work: This project will provide the design and build for a green energy offset at the Craney Island Field Office, which is owned, operated, and maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The contractor shall provide a system that meets the standards of Dominion Virginia Power’s (DVP) net zero program while also meeting all relevant Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC’s). Construction Time: Anticipated solicitation issuance timeframe is on or about April 2020, and the estimated proposal due date timeframe is on or about May 2020. The construction period of performance will be approximately 180 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The official synopsis citing the solicitation number will be issued on the System for Award Management website (Beta.Sam.Gov) and inviting firms to register electronically to receive a copy of the solicitation when it is issued. In accordance with FAR 36/DFARs 236, the estimated contract price range for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. NAICS Code 237990 applies with a small business size standard of $36,500,000.00. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis.
