The Norfolk District, Corps of Engineers intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for the following type of work: Preventative maintenance and repair services in support of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) - America's facilities located at Fort Benning, Georgia; Fort Rucker, Alabama; and Maxwell AFB, Alabama. The services provided under this proposed contract encompass a wide range of facilities services such as operation and maintenance of heating and cooling systems, plumbing, kitchen equipment, facility control systems, playgrounds and other facility systems and components. These services must be provided on an ongoing basis without protracted lapse to ensure that the building systems continue to operate efficiently and safely for the benefit of the students and teachers that inhabit them. The facilities under this action include thirteen (13) facilities comprised of ten (10) schools and three (3) support facilities at the above installations, totaling approximately 750K GSF. The proposed contract ordering period will be five years with a total capacity of $11,000,000. The annual dollar range for this work is $1,200,000.00 to $2,500,000.00. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 236220. Offerors will be evaluated on a best-value tradeoff basis with a combination of price and non-price factors. THERE WILL N... Sources Sought Notice Oyster Channel Upland Placement Site Refurbishment located in Northampton County, Virginia THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, NOR SPECIFICATIONS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Norfolk District, United States Army Corps of Engineers is seeking qualified and experienced firms capable of performing site refurbishment at the Oyster Channel Upland Dredge Material Placement Site. Site refurbishments include the grading and raising of the perimeter containment dikes and associated work including site clearance, maintenance of haul roads and work areas, landscaping, site restoration and installation of a spill box. The Contractor shall be responsible for accomplishing an as-built topographic survey in support of work acceptance and final quantities and payment. All fill material for the dike raising will be government supplied from on-site borrow sources. Total fill volume is not expected to exceed 45,000 cubic yards. Construction techniques and equipment must accommodate soft and wet subsurface and fill soil conditions with high susceptibility to rapid and long-term settlements under instantaneous and sustained loading conditions. In accordance with FAR 36.204; DFAR 236.204, the estimated construction price range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.00. NAICS Code 237990 applies. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. Construction Time: Begin performance within 15 calendar days and complete all work within 90 days of receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
