This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Property Title Service on a Sole sources basis with First Title Services of Rockville, MD. Reference solicitation number W91236-19-Q-0010, prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotations using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotation is being requested in response to this combined solicitation synopsis. The successful offeror shall accept the binding order by written acceptance of the SF1449 to be issued at award, prior to undertaking performance. This RFQ is issued as a unrestricted solicitations as it is being made under 10 USC 2304(c)(1) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Norfolk District requests responses from First Title Services, Rockville MD for Title services to include: preliminary title, title updates, closings, final title, recordings, policies/premiums and partial release in connection with the necessary real estate acquisitions for the Deep Creek Bridge Project, City of Chesapeake, VA Unless otherwise specified in the proposed contract resulting from this solicitation, the Government is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. Inspection and Acceptance shall be at destination by the Government. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed price contract. This contract will have a performance period from 1 Oct 2019 through 30 September 2020 Prospective contractors MUST be registered in the DOD System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to obtain access to FedBizOps. It is incumbent upon vendors to monitor FEDBIZOPPS for the release of the solicitation, specification, drawings, and all subsequent amendments. SAM Registration must also be ACTIVE and current to be eligible for contract award. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Lack of registration in the SAM database will prevent access to FedBizOps and will make a Bidder ineligible for award.
