Enhanced use lease for commercial data centers
The Department of the Army seeks proposals to lease land for commercial data center development under 50-year Enhanced Use Leases at Fort Hood, Fort Bragg, Fort Bliss, and/or Dugway Proving Ground. The selected offeror(s) will be fully responsible for financing, designing, building, operating, and eventually decommissioning the data center(s) without any financial commitment from the Army. Consideration for the lease must be in-kind, cash, or a combination, with a value not less than the fair market value as determined by an Army appraisal. The Army may award multiple leases and considers the project viable if it does not conflict with ongoing military missions. The objective is to maximize financial return by capitalizing on the value of this non-excess land.
