The Florida National Guard is conducting market research to garner interest and the capabilities of companies to perform the required work. Responding to this notice does not pre-qualify contractors and does not guarantee receipt of any future solicitation. b. Scope: The Florida Army National Guard (FLARNG) requires a contractor to supply all materials, equipment and labor in order to automate an existing 25 foot, 6 inch gate, to include weather poof key pad, camera/intercom system with monitor for adjacent building, automatic opening, motion sensor to allow automatic gate opening for departing vehicles at a facility in Wauchula, FL. Pictures of the gate are attached. c. Set asides and codes: The project is classified through the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) under code 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a size standard of $15,000,000. If the requirement is set-aside for small business only contractors qualifying as small under this NAICS will be considered. d. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed priced contract. e. If your company has the potential capacity to perform this type of work, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization (small business, Woman Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, HUBZone Small Business, SBA 8(a) Small Business); and 2) Brief capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort and some references for similar work completed.
