The Florida Recruiting and Retention Bn requires 1,800 EACH Branded OCP backpacks as a lead and branding tool for the recruiting force. See Product Description Document for details and Specifications and CSS for applicable provisions & Clauses. NOTE: Please provide Manufacturing Country of Origin. Q&A Set 1-1 1.Do you accept equal brand? A: No specific brand required. Product must meet the minimum specifications listed in the RFQ. 2. Do you accept backpacks imported from China? A: The Berry Amendment does not apply at this procurement threshold. The Country of Origin (COO) can be China. We only ask for the information in the RFQ so we can properly fill out the Contract Action Report which requires this information. 3. Is there any previous awarded price or target price for reference? A: There is no previous award history for this item from this contracting activity. Pricing will be dictated by competition. Q&A Set 1-2 1. Is the 45 day delivery flexible? The bag described will have to be custom made. But they would need longer than the 45 days. And we would still need to embroider them. A: Lead time can be extended to 60 days if the lowest priced, conforming offer requires additional delivery time. 2. Does the embroidery need to be directly in the backpack? Or can we embroider a patch and stitch the patch into the backpack? A: Backpack must have the logo embroidered on the exterior, visible while worn. Note to offerors: This backpack is intended for use as a recruiting, promotional giveaway item for prospective recruits. It is not for military use or tactical training. Q&A Set 1-3 1. Embroidered logo size? A. 2 ½ inches height and 2 ¼ inches width 2. Any preference for how many stitches counts for the logo? A. No preference on stitch count 3.
