The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District intends to solicit fabrication and delivery of two complete sets of stoplogs (16 total) for the Soo Project Office at the Soo Locks in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, delivered by barge or ship. Each set includes 7 standard stoplogs and 1 filling stoplog with 2 butterfly valve assemblies, and the fabricator must be AISC 207-23 certified as an Advanced Bridge Fabricator, Intermediate Bridge Fabricator, or Advanced Hydraulic Fabricator and hold a Fracture Control Endorsement. The requirement is a 100% total small business set-aside under NAICS 332312 with a 500-employee size standard, and the Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated solicitation posting date is November 2026, with materials available electronically only via PIEE Solicitation Module and/or SAM.gov; hard copies will not be provided.
