Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) Monguagon Creek Upper Trenton Channel (MCUTC)
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District plans to contract environmental mechanical dredging and placement of contaminated sediment from Monguagon Creek Upper Trenton Channel in Riverview, Michigan. The work includes removing about 28,100 cubic yards from Sediment Management Areas 1 and 2 and placing it into Cell 5 of the Pointe Mouillee Confined Disposal Facility, with no options. The project is expected to be a single firm-fixed-price construction contract awarded via competitive sealed bidding to the lowest-priced responsive and responsible bidder.
