The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a firm fixed-fixed price construction contract for the following construction services. This project consists of Mobilize dredge to Muskegon Harbor and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits and place material as shown on the plans. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. Should Option(s) be awarded; the intent is to mobilize dredge to Muskegon Harbor in 2026 and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits and place material and demobilize when dredging work is completed. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm fixed-price contract competitive Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction (Dredging), which as a small business size standard of $37 million, Product Service Code Y1KF – Construction of Dredging facilities. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The approximate solicitation posting date is estimated The solicitation package material, documents, and attachment to the anticipated solicitation will become available only electronically via Sam.gov. where there will be a link to the attachment which will be stored in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system.
