CDF maintenance includes mowing of the dike perimeter, dike road improvements, and vegetation clearing. Demobilize once complete.

THIS IS NOT THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, NOR INFORMATION FOR BID. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Detroit District intends to solicit for Detroit River Maintenance Dredging and Confined Disposal Facility (CDF) Maintenance, located in Detroit, Michigan. The project work includes, but not limited to mobilize dredge to the Detroit River. Mechanically dredge includes Lower Livingstone and East Outer Channels. Placement of dredged material at the Pointe Mouillee CDF. Demobilize when complete. CDF maintenance at the Pte. Mouillee CDF may include mowing of the dike perimeter, dike road improvements, and cell 2 vegetation clearing. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 237990 (Exception), Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a small business size standard of $37 million (dredging) in average annual receipts. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to be issued as a 100% set-aside for small businesses. General Information: The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract. Anticipated Solicitation Posting Date: February/March 2025. Anticipated Proposal Due Date: April/May 2025. The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via the PIEE Solicitation Module and/or SAM.gov which is free of charge. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this pre-solicitation notice or the upcoming solicitation. Please note the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" found on sam.gov for this requirement.
