The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking information on potential sources that have the capability to provide landscaping serviced at the St. Mary’s Falls Canal in Sault Sainte Marie, MI. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement for this requirement. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted nor acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is for market research purposes only. Project Description: Performance of landscape maintenance during the growing season to maintain the outside areas in a neat and clean manner. Items included in Landscape Maintenance are lawn mowing, edging, trimming, raking, vegetation control, collecting and disposing of fallen limb and leaf debris, mulched bed maintenance, and policing to keep the area clean and free of debris and trash.. Washing of the interior and exterior windows of the Overlook Platform three times per week. Power washing the Overlook Platform once per month, sweeping the Overlook Platform three times per week. Operation and maintenance of the water supply lines and the sprinkler heads for the upper and lower park sprinklers shall be the responsibility of the Government. Suppress the growth of vegetation by applying herbicide. The Government will not reimburse any costs incurred or associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. Additional company capability information is welcome. Your company’s response is limited to 25 pages. All attachments must be provided in either Microsoft Word, excel, or Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Attachments with files ending in “.zip” or “.exe” are not allowable and files will be stripped and deleted from any emails received by the Government.
