Amendment issued to update the Instructions to Offerors Section, update the Performance Work Statement (PWS), provide responses to the RFIs received, extend suspense due date, and update the SCA Wage Determination applicable to the requirement. ********** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District has a requirement to award a single firm fixed price service contract for the Duluth Janitorial Services Project. The solicitation number is W911XK24Q0002 and it will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The city of Duluth has a requirement where the Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform full janitorial and periodic services to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Maritime Visitor Center. The Contractor shall provide janitorial services to present a clean, neat and professional appearance in accordance with commercial standards, all local, state and federal law, and the requirements as described in the performance work statement, with focus on safety, sanitation and customer service. The ability for a contractor to adequately clean the buildings during the designated times/frequencies will be the evaluating factor for the success or failure of this contract. The cleaned areas will be evaluated based on inspections and customer complaints performed and validated by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) or authorized representative. The following information is provided: This RFQ is intended to be issued as a 100% set-aside for small businesses and the government intends to award one firm fixed price contract for a base and four option years. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 561720 - Janitorial Services The size standard for this NAICS is $22 million in average annual receipts. Basis of Award: The Government intends to award one contract to the lowest priced offeror that meets the requirements as laid out in this RFQ. The Government may also choose to negotiate if only one offer is received. The Offeror shall submit an electronic quote. All quotation information must be in the English language and priced in U.S. dollars. The Government reserves the right to seek clarification on any aspect of the offeror's quote. Quotes for this requirement are due on January 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM (Eastern). Quotes shall be emailed to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist identified in the RFQ.
