Dredg... The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is in need of a contractor for a construction dredging project. The project is for maintenance dredging in Duluth Harbor. Mobilize to the Duluth-Superior Harbor. Dredge between the upstream and downstream limits indicated on the contract drawings. Place all dredged material at the Erie Pier CDF as specified. If options are awarded, dredge and place the additional quantities indicated by the bid schedule. Clean-up work sites and demobilize from the harbor and CDF when work is complete. Dredging must be completed during the 2023 field season (approximately 01 JUL through 15 OCT 2023). This announcement serves as the advance notice for this project. The solicitation is expected to be advertised in May or June of 2023 and anticipated awarded is expected to be 30 days from solicitation posting with the provided period of performance. The project will be advertised with full and open competition. The project will be located near the 55802 zip code. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, which has a size standard of $37,000,000 in average annual receipts for dredging. A bid bond in the amount of the offer is required. The contract is anticipated to have a completion date of 15 October.
