The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the 88th Army Reserve Center construction project in Duluth, Minnesota. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for 88th Army Reserve Center construction project in Duluth, Minnesota. The purpose of this contract is to mobilize to the 88th U.S. Army Reserve Center located in Duluth, Minnesota on Minnesota Point. Replace portions of the security fencing and maintain facility security. Make improvements to the facility’s parking lot and stabilize the existing shoreline by constructing an armor stone revetment. General Information: The estimated cost of construction is between $1 Million and $5 Million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $39.5 Million in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for Small Businesses. Approximate solicitation posting date: June/July 2022 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via sam.gov when the solicitation is posted. Hard copy documents will not be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" tab found on beta.sam.gov for this solicitation. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of bid. Contractors can access SAM for free at www.sam.gov.
