See attachement/Links for more information.**** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY22 Duluth Superior Harbor Maintenance Dredging construction project in Duluth, Minnesota. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for Duluth – Superior Harbor Maintenance Dredging project in Duluth, Minnesota. The purpose of this contract is to mobilize to the Duluth-Superior Harbor. Dredge between the upstream and downstream limits indicated on the contract drawings. Place dredged material in the indicated placement areas specified. For material to be placed at the 40th Avenue placement area, inoculate dredged material with provided seed bank. Conduct placement area surveys as specified. Perform maintenance work at the Erie Pier CDF as specified. Clean-up work sites and demobilize from the harbor. Options 1, 2, 3, and 4 are also included in the Bid Schedule. Provide all work, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, and administration as indicated herein, as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications, and as necessary to completely perform the work as described. General Information: The estimated cost of construction is between $1 Million and $5 Million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard for Dredging is $30 Million in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via www.sam.gov. Hard copy documents will not be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" tab found on beta.sam.gov for this solicitation. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of bid. Contractors can access SAM for free at www.sam.gov.
