The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District intends to solict for FY21 Duluth Superior-Harbor Maintenance Dredging, Duluth, Minnesota. The work includes mobilize dredge to the Duluth-Superior federal navigation channel and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits as shown on the contract drawings. Dredge entirely to the depths specified, as required in the contract specifications. Place dredged material along Minnesota Point as beach nourishment, as required in the contract documents. Perform various methods of debris management and clean-up, as specified in the contract documents. Demobilize when dredging, material placement, and debris management operations are complete. The contractor will have an estimated 120 calendar days to complete this requirement. General Information: The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, which has a small business size standard of $30 million. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as firm-fixed price. The anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically via System Award Management at: www.beta.Sam.gov. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of the solicitation. The solicitation package will include documents, drawings, specifications and attachments. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, entity are required to continue to update or and register at System for Award Management (SAM) at: www.SAM.gov.
