See Attachments/Links for more information. ***** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY21 Detroit River and Pointe Mouillee CDF Maintenance Dredging, Monroe County, Michigan. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for FY21 Detroit River and Pointe Mouillee CDF Maintenance Dredging, Monroe County, Michigan. This project consists of maintenance dredging within the Pointe Mouillee South Inner Channel and East Outer Channel. Placement of dredged materials will be within the Pointe Mouillee Confined Disposal Facility (CDF) Cell#3. Dredging and placement can be accomplished by mechanical or hydraulic means. 1.0' of over depth is allowed. No shoaled material above the required pay prism line will be allowed for final acceptance. CDF maintenance work includes the installation of 200 LF of rodent barrier and the replacement of two range lights as shown in the plans and described in the specifications. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. Dredging Option 1 and Option 2 are also included in the Bid Schedule. Provide all work, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, and administration as indicated herein, as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications, and as necessary to completely perform the work as described. General Information: The estimated cost of construction is between $1 Million and $5 Million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a small business size standard of $30 Million in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for small Businesses. The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via beta.sam.gov. Hard copy documents will not be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" tab found on beta.sam.gov for this solicitation. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of bid.
