Please see document labeled W911XK20R0012 RFI Questions and Answers in the Attachments/Links section of this solicitation. ******************************************************************************* The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Detroit District is seeking contractors to provide armed security guard and patrol services at the St. Mary's Fall Canal and associated areas located in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. The contractor is to provide all personnel, supervision, uniforms, personal protective equipment, weapons, ammunitions, transportation, facilities, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, and any and all items and non-personal services necessary to perform private contract security guard services as defined in the upcoming Performance Work Statement (PWS) with exception of items specified as government-furnished property and services. Standard routine guard services and patrol duties will be outlined in the upcoming solicitation with requirement of additional guard service requirements as required for special events, threat response, and emergencies at the St. Mary's Falls Canal facility and other USACE locations within a 50 mile radius. Guards will be required to perform duties at fixed posts and during roving patrols throughout the facility, indoors and outdoors, in all seasons and weather conditions, in close proximity to, and interacting with, deep water, heights, vessels, vehicles, equipment, machinery, government and contract personnel, law enforcement agencies, and the public. Patrol frequency and response times will require the contractor to provide operational motor vehicle(s) and additional mobile equipment to accommodate. General Information: The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561612, which has a small business size standard of $20,500,000.00 in average annual receipts. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to be issued as a Firm, Fixed-Price contract with Requirement CLINs. The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and/or attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via beta.sam.gov. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note the Government will not be maintaining a vendor list during the solicitation period. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of any offer.
