******************** UPDATE as of 20 July 2020 ******************** Please Note: The pricing schedule is separate from the price proposal submitted for the sample analysis project. Each Offeror shall submit a pricing schedule AND a separate price proposal for the sample project. ******************************************************************** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking firms with the capability to provide laboratory services for the characterization of soils, sediments, sludges, ground waters, surface waters, tissues, oils, wastes, and other environmental sample types. Typically projects involve analyzing samples collected at field sites and determine the concentrations of various pollutants. In addition, samples may be required to undergo several predictive tests including leaching tests and bioassays. The work to be done consists of furnishing and delivering to the USACE all supplies and services necessary to conduct laboratory services as requested by specific delivery orders. General Information: This Request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to be issued 100% set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541380 Testing Laboratories, which has a size standard of $16.5M in average annual receipts. State Validations: laboratory is required to obtain and maintain validation from the state in which they operate. Additionally, laboratory compliance from other states may be necessary prior to analysis of samples which are taken from project sites outside of the laboratory's state (e.g. Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc.). The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to this solicitation will be available only electronically and via beta.sam.gov. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note; the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" found on beta.sam.gov for this solicitation.In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of a proposal.
