All aspects of the PWS, terms, and conditions remain unchanged. This solicitations is not being extended as a result of this amendment. This requirement is being solicited under full and open competition procedures. The NAICS code assigned to this requirement is 562998--All Other Miscellaneous Waste Management Services. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking to establish a contract with the purpose of procuring services to perform the inspection, cleaning, and disposal of generated waste for eight fuel oil tanks located on floating plant and equipment. The fuel oil tanks and their respective equipment requiring this service will be located at the Soo Area Office (SAO) in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. The work to be performed will be in accordance with industry, EM385-1-1, and OSHA safety requirements for fuel tank cleaning, inspection, and generated waste disposal. One (1) floating plant and one (1) tug must remain operational at all times. Concurrent work may be required if options are awarded as one (1) system (floating plant and tug) shall not be out of service for more than five (5) consecutive calendar days. Current system configurations, site layout, and plant drawings will be provided for reference and planning with the solicitation notice. Work shall be performed on: Two (2) 2000 gallon fuel oil tanks located on the C/B HARVEY Two (2) 600 gallon fuel oil tank located on the tug FREDRICK, if option is awarded Two (2) 2500 gallon fuel oil tanks located on the D/B NICOLET Two (2) 450 gallon fuel oil tank located on the tug WHITEFISH BAY, if option is awarded Please carefully view the attached solicitation and attachments for a detailed description of the requirement and the procedures for submitting questions and offers.
