Background: The USACE Detroit District, Soo Area Office (SAO) currently is unable to use the elevator in the Administration Building due to damage caused during a passenger entrapment, resulting in forced entry damage. Scope: The contractor shall provide labor at the USACE SAO Administration Building elevator to repairdamage and restore use of the elevator, in support of the USACE mission. Purpose/Objectives: The purpose of this firm-fixed priced(FFP) Delivery Order (DO) is for United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Sault Sainte Marie Area Office to procure repair services in support of the Administration Building elevator. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS Read the entire solicitation document prior to preparation of your offer. All information provided by the Contractor shall be current, concise, specific, and complete, and shall demonstrate a thorough understanding of the requirements communicated within this Performance of Work Statement (PWS). Any omission or substantial deficiencies will result in rejection of the offer. The Contractor must be registered in the Government's System for Award Management (SAM) with the correct North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for the contract, must not be disbarred, must not be delinquent with respect to federal taxes, must not appear on the Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), must have a satisfactory or better performance history, and must otherwise be eligible to receive award of a contract by the Government. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO ELEVATOR REPAIR SERVICE The following are the minimum specifications that each Elevator Repair Service is required to fulfill: Specifications: Trouble Shooting of Elevator System and Doors Adjustments to Door Operator Repairs to Door Lock DELIVERY: Repairs are to be furnished, installed, supplied, and maintained at the following location: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 312 W Portage Ave Sault Sainte Marie, MI 49783 Completion of Elevator Repair Service is to occur within a (30) calendar day period, commencing upon the Contractor receiving notification of award from the Contracting Office. Elevator repairs are to be performed during normal business hours between 7:30am to 3pm Eastern Time, excluding federal holidays. Security rules and regulations apply to the vendor and its employees while working on the premises. These regulations include but are not limited to, presenting valid identification for entrance and ensuring that the installation personnel are always identifiable to building personnel, smoking restrictions, and any safety procedures as outlined in the site regulations. The vendor will be responsible for any damage to the building which occurs during delivery. Elevator repairs will be inspected by the Government after delivery and activation / installation. Acceptance will be documented with the Government's approval of the product invoice.
