See Attachments/Links Section for more details ********** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the Maintenance Dredging Manistique Harbor construction contract. The scope of work entails mobilizing dredge to Manistique Harbor and begin dredging at the location and depth specified on the plans. Dredging is limited to mechanical method only. Placement of dredged materials will be within the upland placement site as shown in the plans. Transfer sites are provided for the Contractor’s use. Hydraulic conveyance of dredged material to the placement area is prohibited. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. The Contractor shall provide all work, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, and administration as indicated herein, as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications, and as necessary to completely perform the work as described. General Information: The estimated cost of construction is between $1 Million and $5 Million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $30 Million in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for small Businesses. The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the solicitation will be available only electronically and via beta.sam.gov. and are attached to the solicitation notice. Hard copy documents will not be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" tab found on beta.sam.gov for this solicitation. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of bid.
