The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY20 Maintenance Dredging Monroe Harbor construction contract. The Contractor shall provide all work, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, and administration as indicated herein, as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications, and as necessary to completely perform the work as described. Work elements include the following: The contractor will mobilize equipment to Monroe Harbor, MI and dredge within the limits delineated on the plans. Dredged material placement will be in the areas designated in either Sterling State Park CDF or in Pointe Mouillee CDF, in accordance with the plans and specifications. Demobilize once work is complete. General Information: The estimated price of construction is between $1,000,000 and $1,500,000 . The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $30 Million (dredging) in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments are available only electronically and via beta.sam.gov and are attached to this solicitation notice. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Managment (SAM) prior to submission of bid. Contractors can access SAM for free at www.sam.gov.
