The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY20 Holland (Outer) Harbor maintenance dredging. The contractor will Mobilize dredge to Holland Harbor, Michigan. Dredge outer harbor location and depth as specified on the plans. Placement of dredged material to be evenly distributed along the shoreline beginning at 2000 feet north of the north breakwater and extending 2000 feet northernly. Lakeward and landward limits of placement is between the most landward 8.0 feet depth contour relative to current water level and the Ordinary High Water Mark (581.5 feet IGLD 1985). Demobilize once work is complete. General Information: The estimated price of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $30 Million (dredging) in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for Small Businesses. Approximate solicitation posting date: April/May 2020 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via beta.sam.gov. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note the Governmetn will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" found on beta.sam.gov for this solicitation. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Managment (SAM) prior to submission of bid.
