The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY20 St. Clair River Maintenance Dredging, St. Clair County, Michigan The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY20 St. Clair River Maintenance Dredging requirement. The Contractor shall provide all work, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, and administration as indicated herein, as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications, and as necessary to completely perform the work as described. Work elements include the following: Mobilize dredge to the St Clair River, MI. Dredge areas within the Federal navigation channel as shown on the plans. Place dredged material at the East Dickinson Island CDF as shown on the plans. Demobilize upon completion of work. General Information: The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000 and $1 Million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $30 Million in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for small Businesses. The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the solicitation are available only electronically and via beta.sam.gov and are attached to this solicitation notice. Hard copy documents will not be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of bid. Contractors can access SAM for free at www.sam.gov.
