The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY20 Detroit River Maintenance Dredging. The Contractor shall provide all work, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, and administration as indicated herein, as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications, and as necessary to completely perfrom the work as described. Work elements include the following: The contractor will mobilize dredge to Detroit River and dredge the Federal navigation channel within the Lower Livingstone Channel and the East Outer Channel as shown on plans. Placement of dredged materials will be within the Pointe Mouillee Confined Disposal Facility (CDF) Cell #3. Dredging and placement can be accomplished by mechanical or hydraulic means. 1.0’ of overdepth is allowed. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. General Information: The estimated cost of construction is between $1 Million and $5 Million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $30 Million in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for small Businesses. The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the solicitation are available only electronically and via beta.sam.gov and are attached to this solicitation notice. Hard copy documents will not be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of bid.
