The project involves removal of the existing and installation of a new chain link fence gate at the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kewaunee project office, 124 N. Main St. Kewaunee, WI. The contractor shall provide all necessary services required for installation of new security fence gate in accordance with the requirements of this statement of work. PROJECT SYNOPSIS: The purpose of this project is to address the existing fence gate deficiencies at the location. The existing fence gate & electric opener will be dismantled and removed from site. Some site grading may be required to meet fence requirements. A new vehicle gate and electrical operator (meets or exceeds specifications of SL 595 Lift Master) is to be installed at the location as specified on the project area map. The new gate shall be chain link fence (meets or exceeds FM 3-19.30 and STD 873-90-03 standards for FE6 fence). In addition to the new vehicle fence gate, electrical connection shall be reinstalled for the new gate, computer interface for access control shall be installed with the gate operator, exit ground loop, safety loop, and edge safety devices shall be installed and reconfiguring of concrete slide pad for the gate. Site disruption is expected, however Government access to facilities needs to be maintained. All work is to be phased and scheduled with tenants prior to project start. PROJECT SCALE: The contractor shall remove the existing fence gate and gate operator. The contractor shall supply and install new chain link fence vehicle gate and operator approximately along with the electrical and communication wiring for access control. See project area map. The project shall include a one year warranty on all material and work performed, to include removal and replacement of failed material.
