The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY19 Sturgeon Bay and Kewaunee Harbor Maintenance Dredging Project. Mobilize dredge to Sturgeon Bay, WI and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits shown on the plans. Offload and deposit the dredged material into Barge Road / Sturgeon Bay Utilities Placement Area, as shown on the plans. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. Mobilize dredge to Kewaunee Harbor and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits shown on the plans. Offload and deposit the dredged materials into Kewaunee CDF, as shown on the plans. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. General Information: The estimated price of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has size standard of $27.5 Million (dredging) in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for Small Businesses. Approximate solicitation posting date: May 2019 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" tab found on the FedBizOpps website for this solicitation. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of bid.
