Provide all work, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, and administration as indicated herein, as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications, and as necessary to completely perform the work as described. Work elements include the following: 1. Mobilization to the worksite on the Detroit River and to the Pointe Mouillee Confined Disposal Facility (CDF) at Berlin Charter Township, Michigan; 2. Dredging and removal of sediment materials from the Detroit River federal navigation channel; 3. Transportation and disposition of sediment materials at the Pointe Mouillee CDF, Cell 3; 4. Maintenance activities at the Pointe Mouille CDF, including installation of cross culverts between cell 2 and cell 3, removal and replacement of two (2) dolphins by trestle structure near cell 5, installation of four (4) new dolphins near cell 5 platform, stone placement on all CDF's dike crests, repair of seven (7) known depressions located on the riverward perimeter dikes of cells 1 through 3 and site brush clearing and mowing along the lakeward perimeter dikes and the cross dikes of cells 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of the CDF; 5. Verification surveys; and 6. Demobilization from the work area at the completion of the project.

The contractor will mobilize dredge to Detroit River and dredge between upstream and downstream limits shown on plans. Material placement: Pointe Mouillee CDF - Cell 3. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. Additionally, contract includes maintenance to Pointe Mouillee CDF consisting of installation of cross culverts between cells 2 to 3, removing existing dolphins near cell 3 and installing new dolphins in cell 4. General Information: The estimated price of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has size standard of $27.5 Million (dredging) in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for Small Businesses.
