The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY19 DePere Dam Walkway Replacement De Pere Dam is located in De Pere, Wisconsin. The project scope includes the removal of six (6) steel bridge spans approximately 50 feet long x 4 feet wide, demolition, removal and replacement of five (5) reinforced concrete piers approximately 8.5 feet long x 3 feet wide, and fabrication and installation of six (6) new galvanized steel bridge spans. All work items are attached to the De Pere dam structure, right spillway. The project will also include related incidental work such as temporary bridging and coffer dams.

General Information: This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm-fixed price contract. This project is solicited as Full and Open (unrestricted). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, which has a small business size standard of $36.5 Million in average annual receipts. The estimated range of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A Bid Bond is required. All Bonds must be the original; photocopies will not be accepted. Approximate solicitation posting date: April 2019 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period.
