Mobilize dredge to the Duluth-Superior federal navigation channel and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits shown on the plans. The material shall be evenly distributed along the Minnesota Point shoreline beginning at the Superior Entry rubblemound structure and extending 3,000 feet in a northwestern direction. The lakeward and landward limits of placement are between the most landward 4.0 foot depth contour relative to current water level and the ORDINARY HIGH WATER MARK (603.1 feet IGLD 1985). Demobilize when dredging work is completed. General Information: The estimated price of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has size standard of $27.5 Million (dredging) in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for Small Businesses. Approximate solicitation posting date: April 2019 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation.
