Excavate previously dredged material from the North Cell of the Verplank upland placement site, and transport the material to the placement area indicated on the drawings. 3. Clear vegetation from the South Cell of the Verplank upland placement site, and legally dispose of removed vegetation off-site. 4. Dredge Grand Haven Harbor between the upstream and downstream limits indicated on the drawings. Dredging may be accomplished by hydraulic or mechanical means. 5. Place dredged material in the North Cell of the Verplank upland placement site. Materials placed in the upland site may only be placed hydraulically. 6. Clean up and de-mobilize from the project work area.

The work would include construction of mobilize dredge to Grand Haven Harbor. Excavate approximately 36,000 CY of dredged material from the North Cell of the Verplank upland placement site and transport to the placement area as shown on the plans. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for small Businesses. Approximate solicitation posting date: Early to mid March 2019.
