The US Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, plans to solicit for a construction contract for Maintenance Dredging at Ludington Harbor, Michigan. The work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: Mobilize dredge to Ludington Harbor and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits shown on the plans. The material shall be evenly distributed along the shoreline beginning 5500 feet south of the south pier, then extending 3,000 feet southerly. The lakeward and landward limits of placement are between the most landward 8.0 feet depth contour relative to current water level and the ORDINARY HIGH WATER MARK (581.5 feet IGLD 1985). Demobilize when dredging work is completed. General Information: This project is set aside for small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 237990. The small business size standard for this requirement is $27.5 million. The estimated cost of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000 The solicitation is expected to be available in February 2019. A contract award is expected in April 2019.
