The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY19 Grand Haven, Holland and St. Joseph Outer Harbors Maintenance Dredging project. The contractor will mobilize dredge to Grand Haven, Holland and St. Joseph Outer Harbors and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. Material Placement: Grand Haven Harbor: The material shall be evenly distributed along the shoreline beginning 850 feet south of the south pier, then extending 3,000 feet southerly. The lakeward and landward limits of placement are between the most landward 4 foot depth contour relative to current water level and the OHWM (581.5 feet IGLD 1985). Holland Harbor: The material shall be evenly distributed along the shoreline beginning 2,500 feet south of the south breakwater extending 2,000 feet southerly. The lakeward and landward limits of placement are between the most landward 4 foot depth contour relative to current water level and the OHWM. St. Joseph Harbor: The material shall be evenly distributed along the shoreline beginning 2,500 feet south of the south breakwater extending 1,500 feet southerly. The lakeward and landward limits of placement are between the most landward 4 foot depth contour relative to current water level and the OHWM. General Information: The estimated price of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $27.5 Million (dredging) in average annual receipts. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is intended to be issued as a firm-fixed price contract set aside 100% for small Businesses. Approximate solicitation posting date: Mid February 2019 The solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note that the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the "Interested Vendors List" tab found on the FedBizOpps website for this solicitation. In order for interested contractors to conduct business with the Federal Government, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submission of bid.
