The required construction will establishminimum crest elevation of +15 ft. above Low Water Datum (L.W.D.), a 20 ft. minimum crest width and 3 horizontal on 1 vertical sideslopes. It is the contractor's responsibility to make his own determination of theexcavation and fill volumes required to complete the work. In addition, low areas on the existing stone dike crest shall be repaired with MDOT 21AA stone to a minimum elevation of +13 L.W.D in areas shown on the plans. It is estimated that approximately 500 tons of MDOT 21AA stone will be required to repair the existing stone dike.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY19 Saginaw CDF Incremental Dike Raising, Bay County, Michigan. The work would include construction of approximately 7,700 linear feet of raised interior perimeter dikes on the south disposal cell of the Saginaw Bay CDF.
