The purpose of this extension is to... The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking to extend servies for the St. Mary's Fall Canal along the St. Mary's River, Sault Ste. Maire, Michigan. The purpose of this extension is to issue a modification under Contract No. W911XK16C0008 to exercise option to extend services until the end of the calendar year. The required services for this modification will be continued from the original contract action and corresponding modifications which includes armed security guard services during daily operations (roving patrols, posted patrols, etc.), special event guard services, and corresponding equipment, training, qualifications, and management. This extension is being issued under 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and will only extend the services by 6 months while the new service contract is being procured. In accordance with 6.302-1(d)(2) any bids, proposals, quotations, or capability statements received in response to this notice will be considered
